St. Bernard Parish School honored by the Archdiocese.
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has awarded St. Bernard Parish School with Exemplary Recognition in the area of Advancement, Marketing and Recruitment. This award is for a period of five years 2010-2015.
The Archdiocesan visiting team commended St. Bernard for their effective program developed and implemented by a wide variety of committed people, their consistent marketing results in maintaining a stable enrollment, their involvement of students, parents, and parishioners as ambassadors for the school, the wide variety of universal advertising utilized, and the outstanding level of volunteers that have strengths in marketing and a passion for Catholic education. St. Bernard will be honored at the 2010 Archdiocesan Educator’s Convention next October.
St. Bernard Parish School was established in 1919 and is located in the historic village of Wauwatosa. This is the second time the Archdiocese of Milwaukee has awarded this honor to St. Bernard in the past seven years. In 2003 St. Bernard was awarded Exemplary Recognition in the area of Mission, Community and Climate.
