The mission of the Lifelong Faith Formation Committee is to nourish and support all parish members in their lifelong process of growing in faith by planning, implementing, communicating, and encouraging participation in ongoing opportunities for Christian education and formation with the ultimate goal of putting people in communion and intimacy with Jesus Christ.
The Committee recognizes that people hunger for a strong connection with Christ and to this end, will provide programs and avenues for learning and understanding our Catholic faith that reach out to all who hunger for a spiritual base – parents, singles, married couples, families in transition, questioning teens, doubting believers, and everyone in between, whether just beginning their faith journey or having been walking Christ’s way for many years – to enable all people to find their own way to Christ, to know their faith, and to make Christ known to others.
This standing committee is accountable to Pastor and Parish Council. Subcommittees include Tri-Parish Collaborative, Religious Education, Youth Ministry, Parish School, Home and School Association, and Athletic Association. Meetings are held at 7:00 PM the first Tuesday of the month in Clairvaux Hall.
Members must be active parish members who are at least 18 years old. Parish members interested in leading the parish’s formation activities and building a strong Christian community for all parish members are welcome! Discernment occurs in spring for a three-year term.
