Volunteers

 In an effort to watch over and protect all our school children, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee has very specific volunteer requirements for anyone volunteering in the school or for school related activities. ALL volunteers are to complete a Volunteer Application, pass a Criminal Background Check, complete “Safeguarding All God’s Family” (formally called “VIRTUS”) training, and read and sign off on the “Code of Ethics’. Volunteer Applications were sent home and are also available in the school office. The Parish Business Office will conduct the Criminal Background Checks and the “Code of Ethics” will be sent out via family emails shortly. The school and parish must maintain records on all volunteers who work with children in the school and/or parish.

If you need this training you must register on line at in advance. “Safeguarding All God’s Family” training    sessions are offered throughout the Archdiocese at multiple locations and dates. A training session is three hours long. The schedule of training sessions and ON-LINE REGISTRATION is available at www.archmil.org.- Safeguarding All God’s Family- Events, click on Location and date, click on “ON-LINE REGISTRATION” and complete form. Once you complete the training, they will provide a certificate. Please turn in a copy of this certificate to the school office. Thank you for your help in this matter.
