Funerals
Funerals

Christians celebrate the funeral rites to offer worship, praise, and thanksgiving to God for the gift of life which has now been returned to God, the author of life and the hope of all. Burial, cremation or donation of the body to science are all acceptable within our faith tradition, but will affect how the funeral services can be held. Please call the church office at 414-258-4320 if you would like information on pre-planning a funeral and/or liturgy for yourself or a loved one.

When someone dies, contact the funeral home of your choice. Usually, the funeral director will contact the parish office to arrange for the burial and share the necessary information with the parish. A time for the funeral vigil and liturgy will be set. You will be asked to arrange a time to meet with a priest to plan the liturgy.
